Rugrats
Late 2008 - Early 2009
Well, it's been a really, really, really  long time since I last did a rugrats page.  So the first question is, are they still cute?

Ohhhh, yes!

Here they are, modelling new sweaters that they talked me into buying them in late 2008.
Yes, indeed.
And what's more, they appreciate the finer things in life...
Seriously.
Round about mid-February, we decided to take the girls to Disneyland and Disney Sea, here in Tokyo.  They didn't really want to go, of course - being far too mature - but Kaori and I made 'em.
Here they are with Kaori in a Disney Sea gondola.  The things they put up with for Mom and Dad...
Just to prove that I was there, too...

(I wanted to climb the volcano, but Kaori wouldn't let me.)
Girls in front of a ruined temple, looking for Indiana Jones.  (We found him.)
You'd be amazed how many of these ruined Mayan temples turn up around Tokyo....
They've got the more conventional stuff, too.
Yup - still cute.
Sporting the rad, 3-D glasses look, not to mention Kaori's awesome pirate hat...

Disneyland was a heck of a good time!
Somewhere in there we had a delayed birthday party for Lauren, since all her friends are always away for the holidays on Christmas day, her actual birthday.

I didn't get too many pics, but here's one of Lauren, Katie and Lauren's good friend Sandhya.
And the super cool pin the eyeball on the alien picture that Katie and Kaori drew for a party game.

(No one was much interested in the game, but everyone loved the picture!)
Then, in March, it was time for a little skiing in Hokkaido, at the Sahoro Club Med.
The girls are on top of it all.
We met up there with Kaori's brother Masashi, his wife Junko and their two gorgeous girls, Aya and Haruka.  Here are the four cousins enjoying the Club Med buffet.
The girls spent some time in the ski school, so that Moms and Dads could play.

Here's Aya...
Haruka...
Katie...
Lauren...
And Katie again.
Katie jumped the gun on her birthday by about three days, and got a cake.
Dad was also a happy camper.
One last snap on our balcony back home, for extra cuteness.
Rugrats rock!
